Features
What each feature does in Discord and on the dashboard.
Verification
A panel with one button gives new members a role. Turn on “Hide the server until verified” and
@everyone stops seeing channels until they press it.
Moderation
Right-click a member or message, then Apps → Moderate. Invarn suggests the next step from the server's ladder (for example: a warning, then an hour's timeout, then a day's), or pick a preset. Every action becomes a numbered case: it's logged, the member gets a DM with the reason and how to appeal (if the server allows it), and the moderator can undo it for 15 minutes.
/case view,/case reason,/case revokelook a case up or change it./purgeclears messages by count, member, text, bots or attachments.- Each moderator can make at most 10 timeouts, kicks and bans a minute through Invarn, which limits the damage a stolen account can do.
Reports and appeals
Members report a message with Apps → Report. The first report opens a post in the staff queue (a staff-only forum); more reports of the same message add a line to it. Staff act from the post.
Members appeal on their record page (/app/record/…). The appeal opens a post in the queue, where
staff accept it (lifting the case), shorten it, or deny it. The member gets an email either way.
Logs and undo
Invarn records every change to the server and who made it, from the audit log: channels, roles, permissions, members' roles and nicknames, bans and timeouts, webhooks, emojis, the server itself. Log cards in Discord carry an Undo button, and the dashboard can undo everything one person did between two points. Undo recreates deleted roles (and gives them back to their members), deleted channels (and replays their last 7 days of messages), and deleted emojis.
With message logs on, Invarn keeps messages for 7 days, so staff see what was deleted or edited and can search it.
Anti-nuke
Anti-nuke weighs every destructive change (bans, kicks, deleted channels and roles, dangerous permissions) by who made it. Someone who crosses the line has their roles stripped; a bot is kicked. For its first week after arming it only alerts, so you can see how it judges your server. Every response can be undone if it was a mistake.
Tickets
A panel lets members open a private thread with the staff, after a short form. Staff claim and close
tickets from the thread's header or with /ticket. Quiet tickets get a reminder, then close.
Forums
Invarn turns a forum into a tracker: some tags become statuses (only staff set them), and entering a status can reply, reward the author with a role, lock the post and archive it. The forum's default reaction counts as votes. The dashboard shows a board, where dragging a post changes its status.
Packs
Packs share emojis, stickers and sounds between servers. A server contributes to a pack (its renames and deletions reach every server) or only receives it, and orders its packs: the first ones get the slots when they run out. Files stay on Discord; Invarn copies them from a live copy.
