Getting started
Add Invarn to your server and set it up in a few minutes.
Add Invarn
Open the dashboard, sign in with Discord, and choose Add next to your server. Discord asks you to confirm the permissions; Invarn never asks for Administrator.
Pick a template
You land on Setup. Templates walk through features in order:
- Essentials: staff roles, verification, logs and a staff queue for reports and appeals;
- Community: adds tickets and a suggestions forum;
- Game or app: adds a bug-report forum and shared emoji packs.
For each step you can keep the names Invarn suggests (it finds a role or channel with exactly that name, or creates one) or pick something you already have.
Check the preview
Before anything changes in Discord, Invarn shows a list of what it will do: “Create role @Verified”, “Create channel #verify”… Apply it, or go back. Running a step again with nothing missing changes nothing.
Look at Health
The Overview lists what could break: missing permissions, Invarn's role sitting too low, deleted channels a feature still uses, AutoMod's slur filter. Most come with a fix button.
Who can do what
Discord's permissions decide most things: Moderate Members lets someone time out through Invarn, Ban Members lets them ban and decide appeals, Manage Server lets them change settings. Invarn never lets anyone do more than Discord would. For things Discord has no permission for (warnings, the mod log, message logs, tickets and reports), give roles toggles on the Staff page.
The server's owner alone arms anti-nuke.
